Photographing pets is a unique challenge and a ton of fun!

I approach a pet portrait similarly to a Senior Portrait with unique locations and lighting, but I’m also watching for candid moments (Squirrel!) and expect to get my knees and elbows dirty getting close to your pal.

I’ve had several dogs through the years and of course photographed many more and I know how distracted they can be. “Hold still for a photo?! Whatever!” It takes patience, a keen eye, treats, and more patience to get a great photo. And if it’s not working, we can try again later or another place, no extra charge.

We can meet at a park or in town, or we can do an indoor studio portrait at your home or my home studio.

My rates are: $150 for about an hour of shooting. Edited and shareable photos will be ready in just a couple of days with full-resolution print options available at reasonable prices.
